Reenie and Duane joined me for an 8 hour day of fishing. With the light winds and calm seas, we decided to head off shore. After a short stop to catch bait, I headed the boat west. 8 miles later and we were on the reef. The grouper came up almost immediately. Several big grouper were boated and quickly released. The grouper were plenty big enough to keep, but they are out of season right now. Grunts, sheephead and snapper kept us busy between grouper bites. We fished in the bay for our last few hours. They caught lots of trout and Duane hooked and lost a big redfish. Later Reenie caught a beautiful 27.5" redfish.
The weather man called for light wind out of the south east today. As usual he was wrong! Strong winds out of the south made for difficult fishing conditions. Nate and I fished hard for 5 hours and managed some nice fish. Small redfish, flounder and trout started our day. We headed south and found some snook and jacks to finish our day.

2 Weeks ofcalm winds led to great off shore fishing. Grouper are out of season and we had to release alot of keeper size gag grouper. Darrel caught bonita and good size grouper. John got plenty of grouper and mangrove snapper for dinner. Tim had the big fish of the week until I caught the very same grouper a few days later.

Too cold to fish...I dont think so. Tim and Don braved a chilly and breezy day on Wednesday. Kevin and Reggi started out cold on Thursday, they warmed up fast when the sun came out and the fish started biting. Everyone caugth keeper size redfish along with trout, flounder and other species. Sometimes it pays to to get cold!

Is it December? The fish don't think so. A couple days ago, Seaver caught, redfish, trout, flounder amd mackerel. Today Nancy and her family combined to catch trout, redfish, flounder, a puffer, a jack and this nice snook.

Cliff and Scott each took advantage of the 1 angler special to catch some fish. Despite the chilly mornings and strong winds they caught redfish, snook, jacks, trout, pufferfish and more...

November brought great weather and an excellent variety of fish. In 4 days of fishing, we caught flounder, mackerel, bonita, redfish, snook, trout, grouper, snapper, pompano, jacks and more.

Calm seas and warm temps led to one the best offshore days in a while. Mat and I both scored our limit of big, gag grouper. We got a huge flounder and some nice kingfish. The perfect end to our day was to find a couple big triple tail. These are some of the best eating fish around.

Leo took adantage of my 1 angler special to do some fishing with me. We spent the day casting lures and even doing a little trolling. The bite was a bit slow, maybe because of the full moon on the previos night. Leo and I both caught the Sarasota Slam with trout, redfish and snook all 1 one day. We added some nice flounder, ladyfish and jacks as well. Nothing real big but plenty of fish to keep us busy.

Kyle treated his son and his buddies to a day of fishing to celebrate Cory's birthday. Cory and his friends fished all over Sarasota Bay and caught lots of fish, including, flounder, trout, mackerel, sheephead and redfish. Kyle saved his best for last with the biggest redfish at our last stop of the day.
